If you’d ask me to describe myself, I’d say: a writer, a hopeful romantic, a cat mom, and a K-pop fan at heart.

I’ve always been drawn to stories where the main character feels real. Someone you recognize. Someone you could be. And then, they’re taken on a journey that changes everything. Add emotional depth, a touch of drama, and a slow-burn love story, and I’m completely in.

 

That same love for storytelling is what led me to start writing as a teenager. And I never really stopped. My stories are driven by emotion, connection, and the quiet moments that reveal who someone truly is. You’ll always find a thread of romance woven through them, but just as important are themes of growth, identity, and healing.

 

I’m based in the Netherlands, where I live with my two cats, Jip and Flynn. They are my constant companions and a daily source of comfort and chaos.

 

Music plays a huge role in my life and creativity, especially K-pop. It has shaped the way I experience stories and emotion, and it continues to inspire my writing in ways I never expected.

 

After visiting South Korea in 2022, I fell in love with the country almost instantly. Since then, it has held a special place in my heart.

Aelynn Hart is my pen name. It’s the space where I bring these stories to life.
